Submitting a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is a great way to get started in the financial aid process. As a graduate-level student, your FAFSA does not qualify you for any federal grants that you may have received in your undergraduate programs. Instead, your FAFSA determines your eligibility for federal student loans.
Students are able to apply for outside federal grants and fellowships, like the Fulbright Grant. These grants require a separate application from the FAFSA.
