Step 1: Set up your Populi account
In your student email account, you'll find an email prompting you to log in to Populi, your student academic platform. This is where you will register for courses each term, pay your tuition, and plan out your degree.
Your email will look something like this:
Click the link in the email to set your password to log in. The link will expire after 2 weeks so be sure to log in before that time. After you click the link, you will be taken to a new window and prompted to create a password. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Your Populi login information will also gain you access to Canvas, the online classroom, which you'll learn more about in Step 5 of orientation. This will streamline your accounts, making it simpler to login and access information. Canvas is where you'll view classes, including lectures, assignments and grades. You'll see this Populi screen for your Populi username and password to log in to Canvas.
Step 2: Register for Courses
After you complete orientation, you'll be able to register for courses for your entering term! When you log in to Populi, you’ll be taken to your Dashboard in Populi. When you are ready to complete this step, check out this article explaining how to register for courses.
If you'd like to drop or add any classes during the week long open-registration period just revisit your Populi account. Registration closes a week after it opens. Once registration is closed, we will finalize all your requests and invoice your tuition.
Step 3: Pay for Classes
Tuition is due a couple of days after registration closes. You'll be able to pay for your courses through Populi. When tuition payment is due, you can review this article to get a step-by-step guide on how to pay through Populi.
Payments should be made either via credit card or checking account are are due in full by the date requested. Paying your tuition secures your seat in the course.
