Students have access to two aspects of the Westminster library: eBook Library and ATLA Journal Resources.
Through Westminster’s Montgomery Library you now have access to the Theological eBook Library. The eBook library offers over 1000 eBooks ranging from popular titles to scholarly works. You can use the library to find supporting literature for research and assignments or for your personal reading. To access these resources, follow the instructions below.
You will first need to visit www.theologicalebooks.org. Using the search function at the top, you are able to browse the collection by title, author, or topic of interest.
When you have found a book, click the title. This provides the option to see a preview of the book or to borrow the title.
When you are ready to check out a book, simply click "Borrow." You are able to borrow up to two books for two weeks each. The appropriate due dates will be listed on your account. If you are finished using a book, return it for other students to access. Any unreturned books by the deadline will be automatically returned.
If you are accessing the site for the first time, you will be prompted to sign in. Select Westminster Theological Seminary as your library and proceed to use your Populi Student ID number as your barcode and your last name as your password.
You will now be able to download the book as an eBook file to an eReader of your choice, excluding Kindle. You may also choose to read the book in your web browser.
Happy reading! For questions regarding the eBook library, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
